Aluminium alloy metallurgy

Our electrical smelting furnaces change aluminium from solid(ingots) to liquid.  Molten aluminium is then transferred to holding furnacesdedicated tothe pouring stations. A large number of different alloys are available to us to cover all the widely varying characteristics requested by our customers

Pouring process

Pouring process

Aluminium foundry gravity or low pressure casting
Gravity casting process: molten aluminium collected ladled by hand in the holding furnace is gravity poured into the tool
Low-pressure casting process: molten aluminium is injected directly from the holding furnace into the tool at 1 bar pressure


Our various casting processes produce series ranging from 500 to 50,000 parts per year. Our aluminium smelting means along with our technical capabilities allow us to melt parts from a few grams to 30 kilograms
